First Cut Exhibition

A  small group of us from Buxton Project eARTh  (most of the Buxton group were somewhat snowed in! ) went into Manchester yesterday to see the First Cut exhibition at the Manchester Art Gallery. The work was fascinating and inspiring, and we had a great time. The exhibition includes the work of 31 international artist who draw on paper cutting techniques to produce amazing work! Katy McCall, the artist for our new project, ‘What’s in a Box’, took lots of photos to show the rest of the group next week, and we also bought the book from the exhibition to show people. I’ll bring it along to the blog project too. Anyone who can get into Manchester before Sunday, when the exhibition closes, its well worth the trip. The exhibition is free. A link to the exhibition:
